CONNECTIVITY

WI-FI OR WI-FI + SIM?

Wi-Fi model

Snap can be connected to the internet via a Wi-Fi network, such as the wireless router network available in your house. In order to connect Snap you will need to carry out the configuration procedure.
For further details, please visit the dedicated section.

Wi-Fi + sim model

Designed to be used in any situation, the Wi–Fi + SIM model will allow you to choose the configuration that best suits your needs. In this way, if the Wi-Fi connection is not available, you could choose to run it through the GSM/UMTS integrated connection system.
The reasons for choosing this type of model are manifold:

  • installation in a new house, where the internet connection has not been provided yet
  • installation in a second house, where the installation of a telephone line may not be convenient for practical reasons, or if there is no broadband coverage
  • installation in particular areas of the house, where Wi-Fi signal quality is quite poor
  • installation in houses where there is a ‘pay per use’ connection, or an hourly connection, thus running the risk of exceeding available thresholds

INTERNATIONAL COVERAGE

The Snap data SIM ensures wide coverage, and gives you the chance to choose among various telephone service providers, in over 10 countries across Europe, keeping the same cost for the service.
