FAQ - Cleaning

To clean your oven by hand, use a degreaser and make sure to remove any excess product with a damp sponge or cloth. A good cleaning product should dissolve grease easily, allowing it to be wiped away without scrubbing or scratching the oven walls. Some ovens are equipped with special cleaning cycles (hydrolytic or pyrolytic). Please refer to the instruction manual for guidance on your specific model.

Use a glass cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Apply the glass cleaner on the cloth or sponge, do not spray it directly onto the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads, scouring sponges, or certain types of paper towels that could damage the surfaces.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads, scouring sponges, or certain types of paper towels that could damage the surface. If you use paper towels, check the packaging to make sure they are suitable for the purpose, as some types may harm delicate surfaces.

Some oven models have the option of removing the door and its glass panes for more thorough cleaning. Check the instruction manual to see if your model is equipped with this option.

It is a self-cleaning function for ovens. The oven reaches an internal temperature of 475°C during the pyrolytic cleaning cycle, so that it burns off any dirt and turns it into ash. At the end of the process, once the oven is cool, the remaining ash can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth.

You can select how long to run the pyrolytic cleaning cycle based on how dirty the oven is. If the oven is only slightly dirty you can use the SOFT pyrolytic cleaning function which takes about an hour and a half. If the oven is very dirty, you should use the HARD cleaning function which takes about two and half hours.

For light oven use, you should run the pyrolytic cleaning cycle once a month. If you use the oven frequently or prepare large quantities of food, you should run the cycle more often.

For built-in ovens, you must remove all accessories inside the oven (baking trays, oven grill, pizza stone, telescopic runners) before running the pyrolytic cleaning cycle. Users are advised to read the instruction manual for information on how to use the function correctly.

The oven door cannot be opened once the pyrolytic cleaning cycle has been activated; the door remains locked for the entire process.
